Roundup Rodeo BBQ Review: A Fun and Flavorful Toy Story Dining Adventure at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Step right into the world of Toy Story and indulge in a mouthwatering barbecue feast at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, located in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. My recent dining experience at this new restaurant was a delightful blend of delectable food and an immersive atmosphere that brought Andy's backyard rodeo to life.
From the moment you enter the restaurant, you'll be surrounded by western-themed decor, complete with toy story art details adorning every corner. The attention to detail is remarkable, and as a fan of the Toy Story franchise, I couldn't help but feel like I was truly part of the adventure.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ follows a family-style dining concept where you can enjoy a fulfilling meal together. The price for this experience is $45 per adult and $25 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity. Select beverages are included in the price, grown-up drinks with alcoholoptions are available for an extra cost. During our visit, we paid the full amount for all the food and drinks and there are no current annual passholder discounts being offered for Roundup Rodeo BBQ.
The meal begins with a generous serving of 4 Homemade Cheddar Biscuits with Sweet Pepper Jelly, a delightful start to the feast. This is followed by a selection of three flavorful salads to share, including Rex's Romaine and Kale Salad, Rootin' Tootin Tomato Salad, and Wheezy's Watermelon Salad.
As for the main course, my companions and I opted for the House-Smoked items, which included Evil Dr. Smoked Ribs, Buttercup's Beef Brisket, There's a Sausage in my Boot (Fire-grilled Pork Sausage), and BBQ Chicken with Style! The ribs and brisket were tender, juicy, and bursting with smoky flavors.

We couldn't resist going back for seconds! Roundup Rodeo BBQ also offers vegetarian options, such as Trixie's Plant-based Trio, featuring Combat Carloflower with Harissa Drizzle and Walnut Gremolata, Scrumptious Bratwurst, and Rip Roarin' Rib Chop.

Roundup Rodeo BBQ offers a hidden gem for seafood lovers: the Cedar-Plank Saloon Salmon, available upon request. The salmon is flawlessly cooked to perfection, its tender flesh practically melting in my mouth. To accompany the main dishes, we chose four delectable side dishes. The Married Spuds, with their cheesy sauce and Green Goddess dressing, were a comforting indulgence. Slinky Doooooooooog's Mac & Cheese, topped with crunchy cheese crackers, provided a satisfying blend of creamy and crispy textures. The Force Field Fried Pickles offered a tangy and addictive snack, while the Cowpoke Corn on the Cob, with its grilled street corn flavor and cotija cheese, added a delightful twist.
Though I was already quite full by the end of the meal, I couldn't resist sampling the desserts. While the desserts may not be the strongest point, Billy's Chocolate Silk Pie and Cupcake à la Forky were the highlights of the sweet offerings. Each bite was a decadent treat that perfectly rounded When dining at Roundup Rodeo BBQ, keep an ear out for a special surprise that occurs when Andy's voice is heard. Just like in the Toy Story movies, something exciting happens that involves the servers and even the customers. off the dining experience.

When it comes to both price point and taste, Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Toy Story Land surpasses expectations. In fact, I would dare to say that it outshines other family-style restaurants at Disney, such as Ohana at the Polynesian Resort.

Overall, Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land offers a delightful and immersive dining experience. The theming and atmosphere are captivating, creating an enchanting setting for guests. The food, especially the barbecue dishes, is delicious and fulfilling, satisfying even the most discerning palates.

Even though it's not a character dining experience, the restaurant captures the essence of Toy Story and is a worthwhile visit for both children and adults alike. Be sure to make a reservation in advance and embrace the magical experience of Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
